Mission The purpose of the University of Michigan-Flint's Black Student Union (BSU) is to voice concerns and unify as a collective about social issues related to Black students, as well as learning and supporting other identities on campus. In addition, BSU will foster healthy ally-relationships while creating social change both on campus and in the city of Flint for the betterment of our global campus and community. These actions will enable BSU to foster and celebrate Black achievementBSU's acting vision is to serve as the "heart center" to develop social alliances to promote and ameliorate social issues related to maintaining the dignity of all human beings from an African-centered perspective.
