For the first Queerness in Color of the semester on February 6 from 2-2:45 p.m. in the Loving Lounge we're presenting a timeline of Black queer singers leading up to today. A playlist will be provided showcasing how Black queer artists were and still are at the forefront of the many eras of music and culture throughout the United States.

"Queerness in Color" is a monthly series held by the Center of Gender and Sexuality (CGS) and the Intercultural Center (ICC) where queer people of color are centered and allowed space to authentically be themselves and have conversations relating to them. And while the conversation may be geared towards people of color everyone is encouraged to come as this can be an opportunity to widen your perspectives and respectfully learn from your peers.
