The University of Michigan’s Institute for the Humanities and the University of Michigan-Flint’s Center for Gender and Sexuality invite the public to a free,
one-night-only screening of the landmark documentary Paris Is Burning at Flint’s historic Capitol Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026.
A moderated panel discussion will follow the film.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the film begins at 7 p.m.
The screening is free and open to the public.
