by Center for Gender and Sexuality
Back to Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Details
Join us for a powerful Denim Day Fashion Event, where students, faculty, and staff turn denim into a bold statement of support, awareness, and activism. Customize your denim in solidarity with Denim Day and showcase it on our social media campaign. No fashion or modeling experience is needed—just a passion for creativity and social change. Prefer to keep it simple? Rock your favorite denim and show your support. Use the #DenimDay and post your own photo, or stop by CGS to have your photo taken for you.
Patches, Paint, and Accessories available to customize your denim at our LTT Event on April 9th in the Loving Lounge at 4pm!
What is Denim Day? Denim Day is a global movement that raises awareness about sexual violence and victim-blaming, inspired by a historic case that sparked international outrage. Wearing denim is a symbol of solidarity with survivors and a stand against harmful myths about assault.
