The Arab Student Association at Flint (ASAF) aims to celebrate Arab culture, heritage, and identity while fostering unity and understanding across the UM-Flint community. Our mission is to create an inclusive space where Arab and non-Arab students alike can connect, share experiences, and promote cultural awareness through events, discussions, and collaboration. ASAF strives to build community, empower representation, and highlight the diversity and richness of the Arab world on campus.

The purpose of the University of Michigan-Flint's Black Student Union (BSU) is to voice concerns and unify as a collective about social issues related to Black students, as well as learning and supporting other identities on campus. In addition, BSU will foster healthy ally-relationships while creating social change both on campus and in the city of Flint for the betterment of our global campus and community. These actions will enable BSU to foster and celebrate Black achievement

BSU's acting vision is to serve as the "heart center" to develop social alliances to promote and ameliorate social issues related to maintaining the dignity of all human beings from an African-centered perspective.

The College Panhellenic Associations (CPA) are based on democratic principles and organized to enable cooperation among the women's-only sororities on a campus. The College Panhellenic association at UM-Flint is recognized and falls under the Guidence of the National Panhellenic Conference. The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) was established in 1902 to assist collegiate and alumnae chapters of the NPC member organizations in cooperating with colleges and universities and to foster interfraternal relationships.

The National Panhellenic Conference is the premier advocacy and support organization for the advancement of the sorority experience.

We are committed to relationships built on trust through transparency, accountability and mutual respect. Innovation and our core values of friendship, leadership, service, knowledge, integrity and community guide us in fulfilling our mission.

Membership Benefits
This lifetime membership grants you certain privileges such as professional development and networking, volunteer opportunities, and more. Once you leave campus, alumnae membership can be very rewarding and can help you make connections with women around the world due to volunteering and involvement.

This privilege of lifelong membership also has the stipulation of single-membership, meaning you may only ever initiate into one sorority. If you happen to transfer during your collegiate membership you may join another chapter of your initiated sorority at a different university. If the university you transfer to does not have your organization, you begin your alumnae membership. Joining a sorority is a personal decision and one that requires knowing what being a sorority member entails.

An IFC exists where there are two or more NIC member (or non-member) fraternities on a campus. The Council's purpose is to advance fraternity on campus and provide interfraternal leadership to the entire community. The NIC provides direct support, resources and services to IFC officers, representatives, advisors and alumni to further the health and success of local fraternity communities.

New students, especially transfers, experience an adjustment phase to the academic, social, and environmental aspects of life at U-M Flint. MICUP can help smooth the adjustment period and quickly connect you to campus resources and support networks. MICUP will also help transfer students build a sense of community at UM-Flint. MICUP is a voluntary, selective program for new transfer students entering the University of Michigan-Flint. All new transfer students admitted for fall or winter terms are eligible to apply and will receive emails inviting them to do so upon enrolling.

The Middle Eastern Physician Associates Society at the University of Michigan-Flint was founded to create a space where Middle Eastern PA students feel seen, valued, and supported. Our goal is to honor our shared culture while helping one another thrive both academically and professionally.
