Our mission at Black Girls Code (BGC) is to ensure that Black girls* believe they belong in tech and launch them with the skills, opportunities, and resources to lead. We partner with schools, companies, local organizations, and dedicated volunteers to offer a range of in-person and virtual learning opportunities that build the skills and relationships our girls need to thrive.

The Financial Management Association at UM-Flint aims to expose students to many areas of finance and capital markets in a variety of ways. For the 2024 - 2025 academic year, we plan to let students choose a variety of financial securities to purchase within our portfolio, host multiple guest speakers, and participate in the Finance Leaders' Conference in New York City, all while keeping up with current events in the financial, economic, and political landscape that affect the financial sector.
