The Office of Student Career Advancement and Success (SCAS) has been created to work collaboratively throughout the campus community to build and lead support services focused on expanding career exploration, professional development, and experiential learning opportunities. Through collaborative campus, corporate, and community partnerships, SCAS will develop career programs, help embed career education into the UM-Flint curricular and co-curricular experience, expand experiential learning and increase connections with employers, alumni, and professionals.

Helping students find (or start) their team! The UM-Flint Club Sports program is home to:

Baseball, Men's Basketball, Golf, Men's Ice Hockey, Men's & Women's Soccer, Volleyball

Club Sports are university-sponsored student-run organizations that compete against other colleges and universities in various state, regional, and national contests. The teams are an integral component of the programming and activities offered by the Department of Recreational Services.

The UM-Flint Office of K12 Partnerships is proud to partner with school districts across Southeastern Michigan to provide unique opportunities for K-12 students. K12 Partnerships provides centralized support for UM-Flint dual enrollment and early college programs. Our office is also the home for summer camp initiatives, as well as specialized programming targeting K-12 students with disabilities.

Staff Assembly was formed following a task force study in 1990. Staff Assembly consists of two groups:
-Staff Assembly (all staff members of UM-Flint)
-Staff Council (elected UM-Flint staff)
The Staff Assembly and the Staff Council stimulate and maintain a spirit of unity and open communication between the university support personnel and the administration of the University of Michigan-Flint.

Our Charter establishes the guidelines for procedures under which these bodies will function.

Goals
-Provide open communication with the campus between staff and administration.
-Be the voice to the Administration for channeling concerns by suggesting proposals and solutions with input from the Staff Assembly.
The Staff Council strives to involve staff in order to stimulate and maintain a spirit of unity as colleagues in all departments within our campus community.
