The College Panhellenic Associations (CPA) are based on democratic principles and organized to enable cooperation among the women's-only sororities on a campus. The College Panhellenic association at UM-Flint is recognized and falls under the Guidence of the National Panhellenic Conference. The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) was established in 1902 to assist collegiate and alumnae chapters of the NPC member organizations in cooperating with colleges and universities and to foster interfraternal relationships.

The National Panhellenic Conference is the premier advocacy and support organization for the advancement of the sorority experience.

We are committed to relationships built on trust through transparency, accountability and mutual respect. Innovation and our core values of friendship, leadership, service, knowledge, integrity and community guide us in fulfilling our mission.

Once you leave campus, alumnae membership can be very rewarding and can help you make connections with women around the world due to volunteering and involvement.

This privilege of lifelong membership also has the stipulation of single-membership, meaning you may only ever initiate into one sorority. If you happen to transfer during your collegiate membership you may join another chapter of your initiated sorority at a different university. The Club is established for the expressed purpose of playing competitive hockey. The team was first introduced in 2007. Currently, we play out of Crystal Fieldhouse on Burton, MI. All players are registered with USA Hockey as well as the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). We are here to play hard and win, but most importantly we are here to have fun and become a family. Each player will be given the opportunity to showcase their talent and earn their time on the ice. Our players have gone on to play in professional leagues such as the Federal Hockey League. The team was National Runner ups in 2013, and we hope to be back into national championship contention. We are a family. We are Michigan Flint Hockey. Go Blue.

The Pre-Med Club's Mission is to create a community of supporting Pre-Med students. We inform and educate students about the different aspects of furthering education and career choices in the medical field as well as related occupations in healthcare. As a student club of the UM-Flint community, the Pre-Medicine Club is to provide informative, educational activities and events for its members and the UM-Flint community, as they relate to careers in healthcare.

Students active in the Pre-Med Club will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and be supported along their Pre-Med journey. Throughout the year students will have a chance to hear from established Doctors and Med-school students who will share their stories of their experience. There will also be a chance to volunteer in the Flint community by working with the Red Cross, Senior homes, and a soup kitchen. PMC will help students register themselves for volunteering with Hurley, direct them to research opportunities, and connect students with faculty. Students who become members of the PMC will also be considered for leadership positions in the future to help continue the PMC movement.

Staff Assembly was formed following a task force study in 1990. Staff Assembly consists of two groups:

The Staff Assembly and the Staff Council stimulate and maintain a spirit of unity and open communication between the university support personnel and the administration of the University of Michigan-Flint.

The Common Read Program encourages students, faculty and staff at the University of Michigan-Flint to share in a common reading experience. The key aims are to: emphasize the centrality of reading to higher education and to a full and enriched life; facilitate conversations and relationships that can grow from a shared reading experience; and integrate the campus into national and global discussions and cultures.

Membership Benefits
A Common Read is a project using a common text read by students, faculty, staff to form the basis for a community of inquiry and discussion. It uses a particular text to stimulate intellectual engagement and community-building. The Common Read at UM-Flint is directed towards the entire campus community. The project makes intellectual and cultural resources available to the community beyond the campus and presents an opportunity to attract high school students to campus. Our committee is made up of faculty and staff from across the university.
