All high school students, currently in grades 11-12, are invited to join our music majors and faculty on Monday, February 16, 2026 (President's Day) for a day of musical exploration on the University of Michigan-Flint campus.

-Learn about programs in music and performing opportunities

-Participate in ensemble rehearsals, music classes, workshops, and Q&A sessions

-Hear performances by faculty and students

-Receive information about scholarships and financial aid, housing, and auditions

This event will help prospective students learn about options in pursuing degrees in music at UM-Flint and of opportunities to stay musically involved throughout their college education while pursuing other majors. Attendees will be able to interact with music faculty and current students and experience a day in the life of a college student involved in music. Campus tours can be arranged by request.
